Organizational change is most effective when both employees and management feel a strong sense of ownership and are empowered to contribute. As part of PPA commitment to ensuring that its support to gender equality is inclusive and reflects the reality of the challenges faced by its members, four ‘Gender Champions’ have been selected. The Gender Champions are individuals who exemplify – through their career, initiatives and mentoring – excellence in furthering gender equality. As PPA’s work on gender progresses, the Gender Champions will act as peer supporters, role models and leaders both internally within the regional workforce, and externally in engagement with key partners including schools and the wider community.
