The PPA Conference application for registration must be made on the Active Members Registration Form provided.

Payment of fees is to be made in US Dollars payable to: Pacific Power Association. See registration form for options of payment methods.

To qualify for Early Registration, a completed registration form and payment should be received before Friday June 5th.

Fees for the Full Conference Registration are as follows:

Accompanying Spouse/Partner/Child Registration

The Registration fee for Accompanying Spouse/Partner is US$160.00. 

Accompanying children 12 years or older is US$60.00. 

It is important that you register your spouse/partner and child to attend the conference to avoid disappointment.  Their registration will cover:

• Attendance at all sessions
• Invitation to all sponsored functions
• Invitation to the Conference Dinner
• Transportation for field trips

Cancellation Penalty
Notification less than two (2) weeks from Conference date in cancellation of registration will result in 50% deduction of payment

Delegates Registration
Delegates will be able to Register and collect all conference kits and papers on Sunday August 23rd at the Tradewinds Hotel Lobby from 2.00pm – 5.00pm.

As usual, the emphasis on the Conference will be on the 2009 theme, “Sharing Knowledge and Experience for Practical, Proven Solutions.”

Taking into account the theme, the scope of the Business Sessions will be focused towards addressing this theme.

Interested authors should send a brief abstract (approximately 250 words) to the Executive Director, PPA Secretariat no later than June 1, 2009.   The abstract together with a brief CV or personal bio (not more than 200 words) and a passport type photo of the author should be emailed to the Secretariat before the due date.

The abstract should summarize precisely the scope of the paper proposed. 

Authors will be notified of acceptance (or otherwise) as soon as the Abstracts have been reviewed by the Secretariat.  This notification will be provided no later than June 15th 2009.  Final Papers must be emailed to the Secretariat by June 30th 2009 in power point and also in word format (for the PPA magazine).

It is a condition of approval to present that both the power point presentation and the article in word format is provided to the PPA Secretariat by no later than July 31, 2009.

Guidelines for Utility/County Reports
All Active Utility Members are required to provide the PPA Secretariat a written Utility/Country Report.   This Report is to be received at the Secretariat no later than 3rd July, 2009. 

This Report should be no more than two (2) pages and include the following:

• the operation of the utility in brief;
• the major highlights of utility activities;
• the summary of projects under implementation;
• a list of projects under planning;
• a list of major tenders, bids, contracts, consultancy, major purchases and other services to be sourced externally over the next 12 month period; and
• current organisation chart with listing of incumbent Board and Management personnel.

NOTE:  To create a database for the future the PPA Secretariat would appreciate that this report be provided to the Secretariat on a CD.

Annual Utility Statistics
The Annual statistical returns must be completed on the forms provided (click on the appropriate forms below) and attached to the Utility/Country Report.

Two (2) copies of the following documents if produced annually should be included in the Conference pack:
