This year’s 16th PPA Annual Conference & Trade Exhibition will be conducted in Majuro, Marshall Islands and will be hosted by the Marshall Energy Company (MEC).
Each year the Conference venue rotates between the North and South hemispheres, which provide the delegates with the opportunity to re-look at their travel and prepare themselves for the next conference. Last year, the 15th PPA Conference held at the Warwick Fiji Hotel in Fiji was attended by over 170 delegates with 37 trade displays
Conference Venue
The official venues for this year’s conference will be the Long Island Resort (LIH) and the Marshall Island Resorts. Both venues have been reviewed by the PPA Secretariat staff and are considered the most appropriate as providing the excellent accommodation and venue for our Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition.

This is one of Majuro’s few fine-dining restaurants, and it offers excellent Chinese food along with a range of western dishes in a pleasant setting in the Rairok area of Long Island. It’s a great place to eat lunch because of the view across the lagoon. The restaurant features a first class all-you-can eat lunch buffet on Thursdays and Sundays. They’ve also introduced super value meals, with a variety of dishes for $6.95 and $7.95. Best feature: Thursday and Sunday buffets.
