PPA ANNUAL CONFERENCE VENUE

The Warwick Fiji is the official Conference Venue, which was also the venue for the 13th Conference in 2004.   The Warwick Fiji has been reviewed by the PPA Secretariat staff and is considered the most appropriate as providing the excellent accommodation and venue for our 15th PPA Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition and also the 3rd PPA Engineers Conference.

Meeting Venues

The Warwick Fiji has four conference rooms. All these conference rooms will be used for PPA Conferences as follows;

Koral Coast Conference Centre (KCCC) Located on the ground floor below the main lobby, the KCCC is ideally situated overlooking the Pacific Ocean. KCC will be venue for registration of delegates on Sunday 23rd July.  This will also be the main venue for the 3rd PPA Engineers workshop from Tuesday 25th till Friday 28th July.   Other meetings which will be conducted in the KCC on Monday 23rd July include the Executive Committee Meeting, Closed door CEO meeting and the Allied Members meeting.  Please refer to the conference programme for the schedules of these meetings.  All tea breaks for Monday 23rd July will be served on the patio of the KCCC.

The Talanoa Conference Center (TCC) Located at the far end of the Nadi Wing has been extended and refurbished with standing capacity of 750pax and 500pax. This gives the Talanoa Room conference privacy.   This will be the official venue for the Trade Exhibition and all conference presentations.   Please refer to the programme for other meetings that will be conducted at the TCC.   All tea breaks will be served at the TCC from Tuesday 25th – Friday 28th July.  The TCC will also be the venue for the Conference Opening Ceremony and the Conference Closing Dinner.

The Vusu Room Located on the 3rd floor of the Nadi wing overlooking the mountains.  This will be the venue for the Utility Board Members workshop.

Hibiscus Lounge Located in the lobby adjacent to the Front Desk Counter.  This will be the venue for the 1st day of 3rd PPA’s Engineers Workshop on Monday 23rd July.

Dining  & Entertainment

Café Korolevu Located on the ground floor, the Café Korolevu serves Breakfast Lunch and Dinner daily and offers you an alfresco style of dinning with a superb ocean view. Breakfast is served from 7.00am till 10.30am, a la carte lunch menu from 10.30am till 5.00pm and an international A la carte menu as well as a daily changing theme buffet each evening. (subject to change on Tuesdays and Fridays) Open from 7.00am till 10.30pm the Café caters for all tastes. "Meet you at the Café"

Wicked Walu The Location, The Atmosphere, The Seafood!!! Located on a private island, the Wicked Walu is a dining experience you must not miss. A selection of Ocean seafood grills, Char broiled Steaks, self serve Salad bar and sumptuous dessert menu are complimented by the serene location that over look the tranquil waters of Fiji’s Coral Coast. Open for dinner daily from 6.00pm to 10.30pm, reservations essential.

Pappagallo The Pappagallo is Warwick’s New Italian Restaurant.  Located on the ground floor of the hotel the Pappagallo overlooks the Famous Fiji’s Coral coast. Choose from a wide range of Italian Specialities, superb selection of International wines, array of tempting desserts, and after-dinner beverages. Open for dinner each evening from 6.00pm till 10.30pm. The Pappagallo will be setup to serve lunch exclusively for the conference delegates on a daily basis.

Lagoon Mixed Grill Located at the Nadi Wing beach front, the "Lagoon Mixed Grill" offers a selection of lunch-time snacks, assorted Char Grills, Garden Salads and lots more. Open from 11.30am till 2.30pm daily.

Bars & Night Club Pool Bars – Located at each end of the hotel are two beautifully appointed in-ground swimming pools open from 10.00am to 5.30pm daily for Suva Wing Pool Bar and 10.00am to 7.00pm for Nadi Wing Pool Bar. Enjoy a range of ice cold drinks, Barman’s special cocktail of the day, or simply lay back and just enjoy the cool breeze under a swaying palm tree. Sunset bar – Open from 11.00am till 11.30pm daily. Enjoy the superb views of the Warwick Bay, whilst sipping on your favourite drink. Hibiscus Nightclub – Enjoy a wide selection of International Drinks, Tropical Cocktails and Ice Cold Beer. Conveniently located in the lobby over looking the lagoon, the Hibiscus Nightclub is the place to dance the night away after an action packed day. Our in-house band entertains four nights a week, with fun filled theme nights and much more to keep you entertained. "The Place to Dance" Health Nut Bar – After a long hard workout at the Club Olympus Sports and Fitness Centre, refresh your self with an ice cold drink from the Health Nut
