The API 2008 Residential School in Electric Power Engineering will be held at John Fisher College in Hobart. The API 2008 Residential School has adopted a new model that involves three one-week modules to satisfy different industry needs. The first week includes tutorials and workshops for recent graduates and new employees to the power industry with the target audience from two to five years of experience. The second week provides an overview of the energy supply industry and discusses latest developments and practices across a wide spectrum of technical and managerial activities. The target audience is engineers, managers and consultants with experience ranging from two to 20 years. The third week will provide an exposure to specialised topics of interest to more senior staff with experience from 10 to 20 years.
